In Motion

“In Motion” came about strictly from wanting to use up pieces I had created in for the “Islands” series. I couldn’t stand to throw away all the paper leaves and flowers I had made, and I couldn’t give enough away. So I began twisting them together and dangling them. After that it was obvious I would need to learn how to make mobiles.

The natural descending form of these mobiles spoke to me of decay. They are all dying beautifully.

Materials: Coffee filters, acrylic paint, wire, Elmer’s glue, Fimo modeling clay. Sizes various.
